O-rings made of Viton are particularly suitable for screw-in adapters in the area of fuel lines. Viton is not only resistant to petrol, but also to ethanol and methanol. Thus also suitable for E85.
Of course, the O-rings can also be used for air connections and the like. They are much more robust than rubber washers and it doesn't hurt if fuel or similar things come into contact with them.
