034Motorsport Upgrade Rear Axle Stabilizer for the Audi 8J/8P TT/TTS/TTRS and Audi A3/S3/RS3 and MkV/MkVI Volkswagen R32 and Golf R. This stabilizer was developed to combat understeer behavior and improve cornering performance.
This product was previously extensively tested by the 034Motorsport Audi TT RS 2.5 TFSI development vehicle and Nate's 034 Audi A3 on the road and track. The 034Motorsport adjustable rear axle stabilizer reduces understeer and body roll on the Audi 8J/8P and MkV/MkVI Volkswagen R32 and Golf R without sacrificing comfort on the road.
The 034 Motorsport rear axle stabilizer was developed to harmonize with the OE front axle stabilizer. No upgrade to the front axle is necessary! A stronger stabilizer on the front axle would only result in the need for an even thicker stabilizer on the rear axle. The 034Motorsport solution works perfectly as explained here.
The stabilizer stiffness is adjustable via the holes at the mounting ends. The two holes towards the center of the stabilizer make it stiffer (423% stiffer than the OE stabilizer), the two outer ones make it softer (362% stiffer than the OE stabilizer).
