The thermostat can also be used in the Camaro from model year 2016 with the LT1 engine (6.2L). It is the same engine as in the Corvette from model year 2014. The Mishimoto part number is identical for both vehicles. However, Chevrolet does not offer the thermostat separately, but only as a complete part with the flange. The part number (GM 12674634) for the flange is identical for both the Camaro and Corvette (*thanks to Oliver for this information)!

Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto Racing C7 thermostat will open up at a lower temperature than the stock thermostat, allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner, thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures and improving long-term reliability of your vehicle's cooling components.
