With tongue & groove, quick release and special nut
V-Band connections are often used in exhaust system construction or with downpipes. They allow for perfect connections of exhaust pipes, which are extremely quick to assemble and disassemble. These separation points in the exhaust systems are almost exclusively used due to their ease of use. Our latest high-end V-Band set consists of a high-quality V-Band clamp with quick release and special nut, as well as 2 high-quality V-Band rings, which are perfectly weldable. The rings come in both a male and a female version. The use of tongue and groove makes assembly significantly easier. The rings do not slip when being assembled. Furthermore, both rings have grooves on the pipe side, making it easier to weld an exhaust pipe. Additionally, with 1.5mm thick pipes, an almost seamless transition is formed. The clamp with quick release greatly simplifies disassembly and reassembly. There is no need to completely unscrew the nut. It is sufficient to loosen it halfway and the bracket can be opened.
The BOOST products special feature: Our new sets feature a special nut made from a unique material. This ensures the clamp's hold in rapidly changing temperature ranges. Many providers use a normal steel or even stainless steel nut with a plastic ring as a safety measure. This melts at high temperatures in the exhaust area and no longer secures. Additionally, the material of the screw often seizes with that of the bolt, rendering the clamp unusable. This does not happen with our nut!
