The DEI high-quality gold heat shield mat is the perfect solution for protecting against extreme radiant and contact heat in vehicles, engine bays, or motorsport applications. This self-adhesive thermal barrier, based on the proven Reflect-A-GOLD™ technology, reflects up to 427 °C (800 °F) of continuous heat and can withstand up to 1500 °C (2732 °F) in short bursts.
The 30x30 cm heat protection mat can be cut to any shape and is ideal for application on firewalls, air filter boxes, seat bottoms, transmission tunnels, engine covers, batteries, fuel tanks, or interior panels. Thanks to its gold-coated, fabric-reinforced aluminum surface, it offers maximum heat protection and is highly tear-resistant – comparable to gaffer or duct tape.

With us you get the original heat protection products from the USA. If you observe the market something, you will notice that there are many similar products, which also look exactly like this. This often much more favorable material is not comparable with ours. It comes from China, is much harder and thus more brittle. Also heat rejection and lifetime are much worse.
