The HJS catalyst technology:
HJS offers a universal, unregulated catalyst system with 100 cpsi for motorsports. Here the different capacity classes of motor sport vehicles, a corresponding catalyst is associated with a specially matched volume.
Ultralight catalyst reduces weight by up to 30%:
Weight is an important criterion for the selection of components in motor sports. With the new, ultra-lightweight metal support is possible to reduce the total weight of the homologated HJS FIA motor sport catalysts by up to 30%. The thickness of the catalyst shell can be reduced by using the new three-dimensional bionic structure of 1.5 mm to 0.5mm. In combination with the already previously used perforated film (PE) is a serious weight advantage of about 50% results in competitive products. The smaller difference in the heat capacity of the matrix steel foils and the jacket is a further advantage of the ultra-light catalysts.
