034Motorsport Performance Aluminum Engine and Transmission Mounts for the Audi TT RS (8J).
The motorsport engine mounts from 034Motorsport are the new standard for performance on the track. The engine mounts have been redesigned with performance in mind and are made from machined aluminum and harder rubber for improved performance and durability. At the same time, the driving characteristics are better than with polyurethane engine mounts. Motorsport mounts are cavity-free and fluid-free, eliminating the movements associated with the original engine/transmission mounts, and they are designed to be fully rebuilt with interchangeable rubber bushings.
These engine mounts were extensively tested and improved on the track and on the road before release at the European Car Magazine Tuner GP, on the 034Motorsport Audi TT RS. With these engine mounts, you have increased noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transmission in the interior, as they significantly limit engine movements compared to the OEM mounts.

High-strength Durometer Rubber vs. PU (Polyurethane)
Density Line Mounts are made from high durometer hardness rubber instead of polyurethane for various reasons.
Rubber is well-suited to handle different forms of stress, while PU is only suitable for compressive forces. Rubber is also better suited for absorbing lateral forces, PU is quite unsuitable for this. Therefore, bushings are predominantly made from rubber.
Rubber also does not wear out as quickly as polyurethane, ultimately leading to a long-lasting part with consistent performance and comfort.
