This radiator includes a Mishimoto M16 magnetic drain plug that collects metallic debris circulating in the cooling system, protecting your engine. Note: This product is for vehicles with manual transmission. Please purchase the Mishimoto universal radiator kit for vehicles with automatic transmission. Due to the increased width of the three-row X-Line radiator, it may be necessary to trim the upper hose slightly.
For Subaru WRX models from 2002-2003 built before 7/2002, remove the overflow nipple from the filler neck and replace it with the included NPT plug.

Radiator Cap:
The included Mishimoto radiator cap is not intended to replace the OEM cap on the radiator. The Mishimoto radiator cap is a two-way valve, while the OEM radiator cap is a one-way valve. Due to this design difference, the Mishimoto radiator cap cannot be used with this radiator. Using the Mishimoto radiator cap with the radiator may cause overheating.

Attention:
It is the responsibility of the installer to check all thermostat connections, NPT connections, line fittings, and other connections to ensure they are fully tightened before the vehicle is used. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially after the first few kilometers following installation. Please contact us for further technical inquiries.
