The throttle body hose from Subaru WRX, manufactured from 2008 onwards, is known to fail, especially in vehicles running with increased boost pressure. Mishimoto has developed a very robust silicone replacement hose that offers enhanced pressure and heat tolerance, thanks to its 100% silicone construction. This hose features five layers of silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers that can withstand significant boost pressure. The hose is equipped with a position marking for quick installation—possible in under an hour.
