V-band flanges now available for aluminum pipes
The classical quick-connect or V-band clamp kits contain 2 milled aluminum rings sealed with an O-ring made of rubber. These aluminum V-band rings allow the construction of absolutely pressure tight connections for charge air or intake pipes. Additionally they can be used to facilitate a connection between stainless steel and aluminum, e. g. when constructing aluminum exhaust systems for motorsport applications.
