The Volkswagen VR6 engine is well known for its remarkable exhaust note and impressive response to forced induction. Keep your stock or modified VR6 cool with The Mishimoto racing thermostat, which is designed to promote greater cooling efficiency by significantly decreasing high engine temperatures. Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto low-temperature racing thermostat will open at a lower temperature (71°C) compared to standard thermostats (80°C). This allows coolant to flow through the engine sooner, thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.
