G25-700 turbocharger with GT28R / GTX28R / T28 turbine housing and 5-bolt GT28 downpipe connection! Plug & play replacement for all Garrett GT28 turbochargers – for example, as an upgrade kit for the Nissan SR20DET or CA18DET engine.Garrett is launching a new line of G-Series II turbochargers. Key features include:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE GARRETT G-SERIES TURBOCHARGER

Developed with the same quality and precision that has driven motorsport legends for over four decades, G-Series II turbos are available in various housing sizes to suit your needs – as a complete turbo or a CHRA replacement to upgrade your Gen I unit.
Garrett's latest generation of turbochargers builds on the GEN I series, offering more efficiency and features. With significantly increased airflow at the same wheel size and extreme thermal durability in turbine wheel and housing, these turbos also include 4 water ports, dual piston ring seals, and provisions for speed sensors.
Standard and Reverse Rotation:
The revolutionary reverse rotation feature from GTX Gen II has been carried over into the G-Series. G-Series turbos are also available in reverse rotation!
Compressor Wheel:
All G-Series compressor wheels are CFD-designed, forged, and CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum alloys. The new G-Series II wheels deliver 10% more airflow than Gen I designs.
Compressor Housing:
The aero-optimized high-flow housings with integrated speed sensor ports are perfectly matched to the G-Series wheels. Improved recirculation systems from Gen I are retained and expanded in Gen II, significantly extending compressor performance by shifting the surge limit.
CHRA:
All Garrett G turbos come with water cooling and 4 ports – allowing two ports per side for flexible line routing. Just like Gen I, G-Series II includes twin ceramic ball bearings. New for Gen II: dual piston ring seals on both sides.
Turbine Wheel:
Made from high-performance Mar-M alloy, the turbine wheels withstand exhaust gas temps up to 1050°C. Despite identical wheel size, Gen II delivers 15–20% more flow compared to GTX.
Turbine Housing:
Cast from a special stainless steel alloy rated for continuous operation at up to 1050°C.
